Is there a way to find out what sessions any given process or application is running in? Is there some program that reports that? Also, is there a way to configure Event Viewer to capture the information from the logout process when it tells the user that not all the programs have closed yet? I have been unable to find that information in Task Manager under Processes, nor in Resource Manager. I am trying to find out what session the processes in Windows 7 are running in and to find out how Windows reports that.

I have found some information, stating that Session 0 is for services and user mode drivers and Session 1 is for user-run applications. I have been researching this particular BSOD error and have found that it apparently occurs because an application in Session 1 is not releasing its memory correctly. I am investigating the hardware side of this issue and and will be updating video drivers, print drivers, etc., but I also need to understand this message more deeply to focus my troubleshooting, as I don't have unfettered service access to this computer yet.
